The way Canadians do business has changed. Companies, employees and customers are doing more and more business online, which is why the Government of Canada is committed to helping businesses adopt new digital technologies to stay competitive and meet their customers' needs.
In Budget 2021, the Government of Canada announced the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) to support Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). CDAP will help SMEs boost their e-commerce presence and digitize how they run their businesses behind the scenes. The program provides funding and expertise to businesses, as well as training and work opportunities for young Canadians.
Businesses will be able to apply for two different kinds of support:
- Grow Your Business Online, will help SMEs take advantage of e-commerce opportunities
- Boost Your Business Technology, will help businesses with the development and implementation of digital adoption strategies

Each participant will receive an Excel Financial Forecasting spreadsheet (blank) and completed examples for both a product and service business to assist you through the process. Use the spreadsheet to develop your individual timeline, operating and capital costs, and pricing calculator to create a cashflow projection and income statement for your business.

The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) is conducting a Healthy Worker in Healthy Workplaces initiative in all sectors to focus on the prevention of occupational disease. In industrial workplaces, the focus of the initiative will be on awareness and prevention of exposure to crystalline silica. The initiative focused on prevention of occupational disease and silica exposure is running from October 3 to December 30, with focused inspections beginning on October 31st, 2022.

The University of Windsor's Accelerated Project Management Certificate Program (PMCP) provides participants with the skills necessary to succeed in project management and is ideal for all disciplines.
The non-credit certificate program also serves to build requisite Professional Development Units (PDU) toward Professional PMP Certification, and is comprised of two levels:
Level I: Project Management Essentials Course (six half day online classes)
This course covers the fundamentals of project management and is intended for those with no formal training in project management. The course guides learners through an understanding of how to apply the most essential concepts of project management to different types of projects.
Note: Project Management Essentials Level I must be taken before Level II courses. A Prior Learning Assessment may be considered.
